Flight Med Blog
This blog is intended to provide information and discussion regarding FAA medical certification exams, changes in FAA medical certificate requirements, medically related aviation safety, and to answer questions you may have. The goal is to provide insights and information that benefits airmen with the FAA medical certification process with a focus on a safe U.S. airspace.
My hope is that the blog is frequented by pilots, ATC specialists, physicians, and anyone who wishes to join in constructive respectful discussion of relevant aeromedical issues. As the owner of the blog, I will do my best to leave posted comments that are controversial, however, I reserve the right to remove comments that are not pertinent to the discussion or that are otherwise overtly offensive.
If you want, subscribe to the blog by signing up for the Flight Med Mailing List. If not, no worries. Feel free to check-in every now and then to see what's new, and please participate. Ask questions and make comments. Together, we can discuss the issues, find answers, and work together to make the U.S. airspace safe for all.
